Here at The Mitten Quilt Co., communication is the key to a smooth longarm services experience. After you submit the quote form, I review your details and send you a quote sheet with clear next steps. Once your quilt arrives, I check measurements, backing and batting fit, thread choice, and any add-ons you want. If I spot anything that could affect the finish, like backing that’s too small or a seam that needs attention, I reach out before I start so you can make the call. After we confirm the plan together, your quilt moves into the queue for edge-to-edge quilting. I also check in during the quilting process. Once we’ve chosen a pattern, I stitch a small section first and confirm it looks the way you want before I continue, so we can adjust if needed before I get too far. Most quilts take 2–3 weeks on average, but timing can run 2–5 weeks depending on season and current queue. When it’s finished, I message you right away, send the invoice, and get it back to you as soon as payment is complete (or we schedule pickup). Rush service is available as space allows ($35 Jan–Oct, $45 Nov–Dec).
