Ready to unplug, sew your heart out, and connect with fellow quilters?The Mitten Quilt Retreat is a one-of-a-kind experience hosted by The Mitten Quilt Co., designed to bring our amazing community together in person. Whether you're flying in or driving up, this multi-day event is all about creativity, connection, and Fun.

We'll provide the space, the inspiration, and the good company, you bring your projects and your passion.

We are offering package options to create a retreat that feels special from the moment you walk into the event room until the very last goodbye. Whether this is your first retreat or you’ve attended many before, my goal is that you leave with more than finished projects. I want you to leave with memories, laughing, learning, connecting and talking about the experience for days afterward.

These extra touches and thoughtful details are there to make this weekend something you’ll remember long after your machine is packed away.

• $85 per night (rooms sleep minium 2) — booked directly with Candlestone
  Mention you are booking under “The Mitten Quilt Retreat” room block *Not included in Retreat price. Paid seperately.

• Hotel Check-in: 3 PM | Check-out: 11 AM 

• Event setup begins: 10 AM on October 1 

• Retreat wraps up: 10 AM on October 5

• Overflow rooms may be added at nearby hotels if needed

Flying in?
We will provide volunteer-based airport shuttle service to and from Grand Rapids Airport (GRR), coordinated with your flight schedule. If a shuttle doesn’t fit your timing, we can help pair you with another attendee for a ride or you may rent a car from the airport. You’ll be contacted closer to the event to confirm transportation needs.

Pricing & Packages

A non-refundable $40 deposit is due to hold your spot and goes toward your total. If you entend to participate fillout the pre-registration form early so I can get a better idea of how many will be attending. Once your pre-registration form is complete you will receive an email walking you though next steps. *Retreat pricing does not include lodging.

Package Options:

• Basic Package – $100
  (Access to the sewing room and social activities)

• Basic Package with Spouse – $150
  (Access to the sewing room and social activities)

• Welcome Package – $125
  (Includes everything in Basic plus a Welcome Kit valued at $50)

• Welcome Package with Spouse – $200
  (Includes a Welcome Kit for both)

Final balance due by August 1, 2026.

Optional Add-Ons

• Welcome Package Upgrade – $40 (adds a Upgraded Welcome Kit, $100+ value)

• VIP Bundle – $50 (premium curated quilting goodies, $80+ value)

• Combo Bundle (Welcome Package Upgrade & VIP Bundle) – $80 saving you $10 

• Binding Lesson – $50 (lesson, small practice kit, and quilt math guide)

How to Pay

After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email with payment instructions.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made by June 1, 2026: 75% refund of payments made (excluding deposit & paid add-ons)

• Cancellations made June 2 – July 31, 2026: 50% refund (excluding deposit & paid add-ons)

• No refunds after August 1, 2026

• VIP Bundles and Welcome Kits are non-refundable but will be shipped if the attendee does not attend.
