The Mitten Quilt Retreat 2027 is a 4-day quilt retreat hosted by The Mitten Quilt Co. Bring your own projects, work on the quilt project included in your welcome kit, or choose an optional add-on project.

This page is the starting place for retreat details. Some links and final details are still coming, including payment links and the hotel room block link.

This is an open sewing retreat. You can bring whatever projects you want to work on. The goal is simple: sew, connect, shop, relax, and spend time with other quilters.

What Your Registration Includes

Your retreat registration includes:

Access to the full 4-day retreat
Lunch each day
Welcome kit valued at $50+
Quilt project included in your welcome kit

Access to daily Raffles, giveaways and more
Onsite shop with retreat-only items and special pricing

The welcome kit is included with your registration. You do not need to purchase it separately.

Retreat Pricing

Standard Registration: $350

This is the full retreat registration price.

Early Bird Registration: $275

Early Bird pricing is available through February 28, 2027.

To receive the Early Bird price, the full $275 must be paid at the time of purchase.

Early Bird cannot be paid in increments.
Payment plan payments do not qualify for Early Bird pricing.
A deposit does not qualify you for the Early Bird price.

After Early Bird closes, the regular pay-in-full registration option will be available at $350.

Reserve Your Spot

You have two ways to reserve your spot:

Option 1: Pay the $75 Deposit

The $75 deposit holds your seat and applies toward your retreat balance.

Deposit: $75
Deposit is non-refundable
Remaining balance is due by July 1, 2027
Additional payments can be made in $25 increments

Option 2: Pay Early Bird in Full

Pay $275 by February 28, 2027 and your retreat registration is paid in full.

Your spot is not held until payment is received.

Payment Plan Option

Payment plan payments can be made in $25 increments after deposit payment is made.

You will select the quantity that matches the amount you want to pay.

Examples:

Quantity 1 = $25
Quantity 2 = $50
Quantity 3 = $75
Quantity 4 = $100

All remaining balances are due by July 1, 2027.

Payment plan payments do not qualify for Early Bird pricing.

Optional Add-Ons

Add-ons are optional and will be available as a separate product.

Bundle – $50 (Save $25)

Add-on deadline: April 1, 2027

After April 1, retreat add-ons may be available in limited supply, but the special preorder pricing will end. Individual add-ons will increase by $25 after the preorder deadline.

Add-ons are non-refundable. If you cannot attend the retreat, your add-ons will be shipped to you.

Hotel Information

Hotel rooms are not included in retreat registration price and is paid seperatly directly with hotel.

Attendees will book and pay DoubleTree directly through the room block link.

Free hotel shuttle to/from GRR airport, must be arranged with hotel
Free hotel shuttle within a 3-mile radius

Room block details will be added once the hotel link is ready.

Spouse / Guest Policy

Spouses or guests may visit free if they are not sewing and not fully participating in the retreat.

If a spouse or guest plans to sew or fully participate, they must register at the regular attendee price and will receive the same retreat benefits.

How to Register

Registration opens August 1.

To register for the Mitten Quilt Retreat 2027:

Fill out the registration form so we have your contact information and retreat details.
Pay your $75 deposit or $275 Early Bird registration once payment links are available.
Book your hotel room when the DoubleTree room block link is added.
Watch for retreat updates closer to the event.

The registration form alone does not reserve your seat. Your retreat spot is held once payment is received.

Packing details, event reminders, and what to expect will be shared closer to the retreat.

Cancellation Policy

Please read the cancellation policy before registering.

The $75 deposit is non-refundable.
Add-ons are non-refundable.
If you cannot attend, your add-ons will be shipped to you.
Retreat spots cannot be transferred.
Any eligible refund will be issued as a store gift card.

Refund Schedule

Cancel on or before May 1, 2027
You will receive a store gift card refund for payments made, minus the $75 deposit and any add-ons.

Cancel May 2–July 1, 2027
You will receive a store gift card refund for 50% of eligible payments made, minus the $75 deposit and any add-ons.

Cancel July 2–August 1, 2027
You will receive a store gift card refund for 25% of eligible payments made, minus the $75 deposit and any add-ons.

After August 1, 2027
No refunds will be issued.
